How The Program Helped Your Language Development: At the time that I started the program, I had been studying French for 9 years and was convinced I was fluent. That all changed the moment I landed in Paris (haha). It’s a whole different world when you are immersed in the language and culture. Thanks to the program I was able to grasp the true essence of the language and turn my “classroom fluency” into a more natural and (I want to say “native”) use and understanding of French. 

Any other comments?: Ten years later, this program experience is still the highlight of my life so far. Being exposed not just to French culture but the general European culture and lifestyle (and languages) is a fantastic opportunity that I urge all eligible young persons to take advantage of. Also, practice, practice, practice!
