
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Consulting Services
Cancellations made within an appropriate timeline (at least 48 hours before the session), will receive a FULL refund.

Clients must understand that the consultancy business is a time sensitive industry, thus acknowledging the importance of making the consultant aware that they (the client) will be unable to attend, at least 48 hours before the session.
​
Cancellations of sessions made less than 48 hours before the session will NOT be eligible for a refund. Clients will be able to move the session to a future date, if they wish, by sending an email to the consultant at fluentry.ca@gmail.com.

Clients who have cancelled a session and wish to reschedule that session should not proceed to re-book the session online because it will prompt the client to pay again.

Events​
Customers are required to pay a deposit to reserve a spot at events with limited space. Cancellations made within an appropriate timeline (at least 48 hours before the session), will receive a FULL refund. If customers are unable to make the event, this spot is transferable. To transfer a spot to a new event, clients must send an email to fluentry.ca@gmail.com BEFORE the person arrives at that new event.

THE LANGUAGE SOCIETY – MEMBERSHIP POLICY

1. Membership Structure
The Language Society (TLS) operates on a month-to-month recurring subscription model.
By enrolling in TLS, members agree to recurring monthly billing at the rate selected at checkout unless cancelled in accordance with the policy below.
Membership provides access to digital resources, live workshops, community spaces, and programming during the active billing period.

2. Automatic Renewal & Billing
Memberships automatically renew each month on the original billing date.
It is the member’s responsibility to:
-Monitor their subscription status
-Ensure payment details remain up to date
-Submit cancellation requests before the next billing date
Failure to use the membership does not pause or cancel billing.

3. Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel at any time.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation must be completed before the upcoming renewal date.
Cancellation can be completed by: Sending a written cancellation request to: info@fluentry.ca
Once cancelled:
-Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
-No future charges will be processed.

4. Refund Policy
​Due to the digital and community-based nature of TLS, all membership payments are non-refundable.
This includes:
-Failure to attend workshops or coaching sessions
-Failure to access materials
-Forgetting to cancel
-Lack of participation
-Personal scheduling conflicts
-Access to the platform, community, and resources constitutes delivery of service.
No retroactive refunds will be issued for unused membership time.

5. Giveaway or Promotional Memberships
If a member enrolls through a giveaway, promotion, or discounted offer:
The free or discounted period applies only to the promotional timeframe.

After the promotional period ends, membership automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription at the stated rate. Promotional participants are responsible for cancelling before their first paid billing date if they do not wish to continue.

6. Billing Disputes
If a member believes a billing error has occurred, they must contact info@fluentry.ca within 7 days of the charge. Fluentry reserves the right to investigate and resolve billing matters at its discretion.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Fluentry may result in permanent removal from The Language Society and associated services.

7. Membership Pauses
At Fluentry’s discretion, membership pauses may be granted in limited circumstances. Requests must be made in writing before the upcoming billing cycle. Pauses are not guaranteed and are reviewed case-by-case.

8. Policy Updates
Fluentry reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Members will be notified of material changes.
